behind the camera

I´m Mar, a london wedding photographer Covering the entire uk and beyond.

Back in my early years, I went to Art School, where I took drawing, painting, ceramics, illustration, and photography classes. I did a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, and later on, I moved to Spain, where I pursued an arts degree at the University of Arts of Barcelona. During this journey, my passion grew, eventually leading me to become a London wedding photographer. Capturing love stories through my lens has become more than just a profession—it is a way of preserving emotions and memories that last a lifetime.

Very quickly, I found myself shooting all over the world. Traveling to different countries and experiencing new cultures opened my eyes to the beauty of human connections. Having had the opportunity to meet so many people at such a young age shaped my personality into one that is dynamic, creative, and spontaneous. I’m a very sentimental person and it’s definitely why photography is so close to my heart.  Every click of the shutter allows me to freeze a moment in time, turning fleeting emotions into everlasting memories.

I carry my camera in my pocket as a record of the best moments of my life

In the last few years, I have found my favorite place to be—England, and particularly the city of London, which I now proudly call home. It is here that I have met some of the most exciting and talented people, many of whom have become good friends. London’s vibrant energy, rich history, and diverse culture constantly inspire me, both personally and professionally. The city’s ever-changing landscapes, from its charming streets to its grand architecture, provide the perfect backdrop for storytelling through my lens. Whether capturing intimate moments in a hidden garden or the grandeur of a historic venue, I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love in a place that feels so alive and full of possibilities.

I like to think that my work combines strong energy, storytelling, creativity, and a documentary-style approach, making each photograph a true reflection of the emotions and the experience behind it.
