London Wedding Photography: Anand & Marysia’s Civil Ceremony at St. Dunstan and Lambeth Town Hall
Anand and Marysia—just a lovely couple who met in London—asked me to be their London wedding photographer for their pre-wedding photoshoot and civil ceremony, and we ended up creating something really special. We started at St. Dunstan in the East Church Garden, then made our way to Lambeth Town Hall in Brixton for their ceremony, and finished the day at The Department Store, where they had their dinner and reception.
Our session began at St. Dunstan in the East, one of those hidden London gems that always brings something special to a shoot. Surrounded by nature, we walked and chatted about life—nothing too serious, just getting to know each other while I captured genuine moments. I encourage couples to relax and be themselves, which really shows in the photos: no stiff posing, just real connection and lots of laughter.
Later, at Lambeth Town Hall, their civil ceremony was warm and heartfelt, with family from around the world present and fully engaged. Capturing these quiet, emotional moments right after they said «I do» is one of the things I love most about wedding day photography in London.
We ended the day at The Department Store in Brixton, where the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful light allowed me to create timeless images filled with joy and celebration.
Here’s what Marysia, the bride, shared about working together:
«We are beyond thrilled with the photos Mar captured. She has an incredible eye for detail and perfectly reflected the spirit of our day, capturing both beauty and genuine emotions. From the start, she made us feel at ease, listened carefully, and stayed with us throughout, never missing a moment. We treated her like family, and she made us feel the same. Highly recommend!»
If you’re planning a natural, lifestyle photo session in London, an intimate civil ceremony, or a full wedding day, I’d love to help tell your story with relaxed, heartfelt photography.
