Islington Town Hall Registry. In December 2025, I had the pleasure of photographing Valentina and Matt’s intimate registry ceremony at Islington Town Hall, a beautiful and meaningful celebration of their love in the heart of London. Despite the cold winter day, there was such a warm and joyful atmosphere surrounding this special moment. They were very open to pose in the photoshoot and we had a great time together.
The ceremony was small and personal, shared with close family members who travelled from Italy and Scotland to be there for them. Valentina, originally from Italy, and Matt, from Scotland, have been together for many years, and this day marked an important new chapter in their story. Their happiness was evident from the moment they arrived, and it was lovely to see how relaxed and emotional they both felt. They both are really happy to live together in London.
Their little daughter was also part of the day, making the ceremony even more special and full of meaning. Moments like these—quiet, genuine, and deeply personal—are what make registry ceremonies so unique to photograph. There is a simplicity to them that allows real emotions to shine through.
