Islington Town Hall Wedding photography captures some of the most intimate and meaningful moments in London. In December 2025, I had the pleasure of photographing Valentina and Matt’s registry ceremony at Islington Town Hall — a warm and joyful celebration despite the cold winter day. They were very open during the photoshoot and we had a great time together.
Two Families, One Special Day
The ceremony was small and personal, shared with close family members who had travelled from Italy and Scotland especially to be there. Moreover, Valentina, originally from Italy, and Matt, from Scotland, have been together for many years, and this day marked an important new chapter in their story. Their happiness was evident from the moment they arrived, and it was lovely to see how relaxed and emotional they both felt living together in London.
A Ceremony Full of Genuine Emotion
Their little daughter was also part of the day, making the ceremony even more special and full of meaning. Additionally, moments like these — quiet, genuine, and deeply personal — are what make registry ceremonies so unique to photograph. There is a simplicity to them that allows real emotions to shine through, and Valentina and Matt’s day had that quality in abundance.
