Anand and Marysia celebrated their Lambeth Town Hall wedding with one of the most beautifully personal days I have had the pleasure of photographing in London. Their celebration took them across three iconic locations — from the hidden gardens of St. Dunstan in the East, to their civil ceremony at Lambeth Town Hall in Brixton, and finally to The Department Store for their reception dinner.

A Pre-Wedding Shoot at St. Dunstan in the East

Before their Lambeth Town Hall wedding ceremony, we began the day at St. Dunstan in the East Church Garden — one of London’s most magical hidden spots. Moreover, surrounded by nature and the beautiful ruined arches of the old church, we simply walked and talked, letting genuine moments unfold naturally. No stiff posing, just real connection and lots of laughter. It was the perfect way to start the day.

The Civil Ceremony at Lambeth Town Hall

The ceremony at Lambeth Town Hall was warm, heartfelt and full of emotion. Additionally, family members had travelled from around the world to be there, which created an incredible sense of togetherness in the room. Capturing those quiet moments right after they said “I do” — the glances, the tears, the relief and joy — is one of the things I love most about wedding photography in London.

Reception at The Department Store, Brixton

The evening reception at The Department Store in Brixton was the perfect ending to a perfect day. Furthermore, the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful light of the space allowed for timeless images filled with genuine joy and celebration. Brixton gave the whole day a creative, vibrant energy that felt completely true to Anand and Marysia as a couple.

Here is what Marysia shared after the wedding: “We are beyond thrilled with the photos Mar captured. She has an incredible eye for detail and perfectly reflected the spirit of our day. From the start, she made us feel at ease and never missed a moment. Highly recommend!”
