Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding photography is always such a treat, and Camila and Bernardo’s day was no exception. This Grade II listed Westminster landmark, with its grand neoclassical facade and Corinthian columns, has long been one of my favourite places to photograph a London wedding — and this relaxed, intimate celebration with close family and friends was an absolute joy from start to finish.

The Ceremony

Camila and Bernardo chose one of the Old Marylebone Town Hall’s beautifully appointed ceremony rooms for their vows, surrounded by a small group of their nearest and dearest. Moreover, the atmosphere throughout was wonderfully relaxed — there was none of the rigid formality you sometimes see at larger weddings, just warmth, laughter and a couple who were completely present with each other and their guests.

Portraits Around Marylebone

One of the great joys of shooting at this venue is the architecture surrounding it. Additionally, Marylebone is one of the most beautiful pockets of London for wedding photography, and we made full use of the grand columns and neoclassical details right outside the Town Hall doors for the couple portraits. The light that afternoon was soft and forgiving, and Camila and Bernardo were completely natural in front of the camera — genuinely two of the easiest people I have ever photographed.

Celebrations at The Greenhouses

After the ceremony, everyone made their way to The Greenhouses in Marylebone for drinks and celebrations. Furthermore, the relaxed pub atmosphere suited the day perfectly — there was nothing stiff or staged about it, just good company, good drinks and a couple clearly delighted to be starting their married life surrounded by the people who matter most.

Why I Loved This Wedding

Camila and Bernardo’s day is a lovely reminder that you do not need hundreds of guests or hours of planning to have a truly beautiful wedding. However, what you do need is a couple who are completely themselves with each other, and that authenticity came through in every single photograph from the day.
