Raluca and Hayden celebrated their West Lodge Park wedding on a beautiful July day in North London, surrounded by the lush grounds and timeless elegance of one of the area’s most romantic hotels. Young, relaxed and completely at ease with each other, they brought a fresh and natural energy to every moment of the day.
A Wedding With Heart — Two Families, One Celebration
One of the most moving aspects of the day was seeing Raluca’s family, who had travelled from abroad especially to be there. Moreover, the coming together of two families from different backgrounds created a warmth and depth that was impossible not to feel. It was the kind of celebration where every guest understood the significance of the moment, and that made photographing it incredibly meaningful.
West Lodge Park Hotel — A Stunning North London Venue
Set within 35 acres of beautiful parkland in Hadley Wood, West Lodge Park Hotel is one of North London’s most elegant wedding venues. Additionally, the hotel’s arboretum, manicured gardens and classic architecture provided a stunning backdrop for the couple portraits — from the open lawns to the hidden stone folly tucked among the trees. The summer light in July was soft and golden, perfect for romantic, timeless images.
A Couple Who Trusted the Process
Raluca and Hayden were the kind of couple every photographer loves to work with — relaxed, open and completely willing to be guided. Furthermore, their trust allowed me to suggest different ideas and compositions throughout the day, which resulted in a gallery of images that feel both romantic and authentic. The combination of an intimate ceremony, elegant surroundings and a couple so genuinely in love made this one of my favourite weddings of the summer. It is, without doubt, the kind of day that reminds you why wedding photography is such a privilege.
